Pastor Dave Olson
Hello, my name is David Olson.  I am the Pastor of Shepherd of the Hills.  I was born in LaCrosse, WI to Steve and Gina Olson and have 3 brothers and 1 sister.  I've lived in Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Minnesota.  Now I'm happy to call Colorado home!
        I attended high school at
Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chein, WI. After high school, I attended and graduated from  Martin Luther College.  While attending Martin Luther College, I met my future wife Stephanie.
I graduated from MLC in 2000 and attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.  I served my vicar year in Johnson City, TN. While we were there, the Lord blessed us with a daughter, Haley.
I was called to serve as Pastor at Shepherd of the Hills in 2004 and have enjoyed my time here!  During our time here the Lord has blessed us with a son, Joey and twins - Alli and Will.
I look forward to meeting you!

Kim Bollmeier
(Preschool Director and 4 year old Preschool Teacher)
Hello! My name is Kim Bollmeier and I am the preschool director and 4 year-old preschool teacher for Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. I was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Pastor Roy & Charlene Beyer. (Both are currently serving in our sister church in Algoma, WI.) I grew up with three brothers in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada and Fairbanks, Alaska I attended our synod’s pastor/teacher preparatory school, Martin Luther Prep School in Prairie du Chien, WI and then went on to Martin Luther College, in New Ulm, MN. After graduating, I received a call to teach at Emmaus Lutheran School in Phoenix, AZ. I taught 2nd & 3rd grades for 4 years. It was here that I met my husband Bret who was a heavy equipment mechanic. We were married and soon had our first child, Tatum.
Then, I went to teach at Dysart Elementary in the public school system. I taught, 2nd grade, kindergarten and 1st grade in the five years I worked there. Bret and I also had our second child, Nate.
At the time, we belonged to Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, in Peoria, AZ, which is also a WELS church. They called me to set up and start a brand-new state licensed preschool. I was their preschool director and taught both the 3 year-old and 4 year-old programs for a year and a half.
After vacationing in Colorado many times, we decided to move. Bret found a job working for Colorado Machinery as a sales manager and I worked at Monfort Elementary as a Literacy Teacher and Gifted & Talented Teacher. We joined Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and our children also attend our school. We were also recently blessed with our third child, Ella.
Now, I am thrilled to return to preschool and I am very excited to be able to work with you and your child in the upcoming year. I look forward to seeing you!

Karen Schott
(3 year old Preschool Teacher)
Hi!  My name is Karen Schott and I am the 3 year old preschool teacher.  I was born here in Greeley, Colorado.  My parents are Allan and Bernice Walso.  I grew up with one older brother on a farm east of LaSalle with lots of farm animals and chores. It was a great experience and I enjoyed living in the country.
I attended schools here in Greeley. I also have attended Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church since it began in 1975.  So you can say that I am a true native of Greeley. This is home!

I have a wonderful husband, Alan, who works in Longmont as an auto technician. We’ve been blessed with two children. Ashley was born in 1988 and is attending UNC here in Greeley. Michael was born in 1991 and is a senior at Greeley West High School.
I have had the pleasure of teaching preschool at Shepherd of the Hills since January, 1996, and I love working with the children.  I look forward to meeting you and your child.

Tammy Prellwitz -
Teacher's Aid

Hello! My name is Tammy Prellwitz and I am the 4-year old preschool teacher’s aid for Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Preschool. I was born in St. Joseph, Michigan. When I was still very young, our family moved west to Phoenix, AZ and I grew up in the heat of the desert. I attended Emmaus Lutheran elementary school, and after graduating from Deer Valley High School I spent 10 years working in Customer Service at American Express.
God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, Phil and an amazing son, Josh. I was given the opportunity to stay at home while my son was young and devote my time to being a Mom. During this time I cared for my son as well as other young children in the neighborhood. I have always been active in school activities, helped with after-school sports programs and youth groups.

We were blessed to be members of a WELS church, Cross of Glory, in Peoria, AZ. During this time they were starting their preschool program and needed a teacher’s assistant. I gladly accepted this opportunity to return to work doing what I love most, caring for young children and teaching them about their Savior, Jesus Christ. I was there for 2 years, working first for Kim Bollmeier, then with Angie Gumm, before our family moved to Colorado. We had visited our friends, the Bollmeier’s, here several times and found we loved Colorado enough to make the move. We have been members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church since the summer of 2007. I was fortunate enough to be able to offer daycare for 2 children of our church before I was blessed again with an opportunity to work with Kim Bollmeier as her teacher’s aid in the 4-year old preschool. I am looking forward to an exciting school year and meeting you and your child.
